Never been a moment

This video is a testimony of how God has worked miracles in my life. Memories shared during my time in SOW (School of Witness) last year, the good and bad, and how God has taught me to embrace it all. From being humble, to accepting mistakes I’ve made, people to forgive, people to love, and the cycle that repeats itself. Every day is grace, from choosing to love God first, then others. It has taught me that God never changes, but I do. His love is a mystery, but still I love Him anyway.

To rest in His love, this image drawn beautifully by one of my sisters-in-Christ, Felicia

From stumbling upon many friendships, to where God has called me to be. Looking back, there was growth, and there was change. Change, was for the better so that I can continue to walk on the path that God has chosen for me. To be patient, and to honor God, for loving Him means having enough rest. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, and if I am not taking care of it, then I am not loving God. For everything that flows from my body comes from God, and my body is not my own.

To be a vessel, so that His love can flow through- to all that I meet.

2018, whatever may be, God I am ready. Hold me by my right hand, and tell me that everything’s okay. For with my hand in yours, there is nothing I shall fear. You are my rock and my fortress, my shelter in the storm.

“Even if I go through the deepest darkness, I will not be afraid, LORD, for you are with me. Your Shepherd’s rod and staff protect me.” – Psalm 23:4

Part 2- Temptation to Sin

interior freedom

There are many temptations in this world of ours, but we have to keep faith, because this fight alone belongs to God, and we only have to do our part.

“To press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us”
– Philippians 3:14

The temptations to do good, can also lead to another form of sin- Spiritual pride. Sometimes without realizing it, we compare ourselves to another, we judge others and we forget that God is our only judge. We have to be aware, and if pride is something we are struggling with, we can only look to the saints for help, and saying a prayer of humility helps.

God loves each one of us, just as we are and we so often forget that.

It is only through prayer, having a relationship with God that allows us to be strengthened, with the grace of God to fight and flee from temptations of any kind. We must stop, and take a look at ourselves, especially our interior life. Our prayer life, our relationship with God and others.

“The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love”
– Psalm 103:8

It is only with humility and gentleness from God that allows us to be meek, humble and contrite of heart. So fear not, even if you are far away, God loves you, and have already forgiven you of your sins. Every time you fall, quickly turn back to God and be freed from any slavery to sin or bondage of any kind.

We have a long journey ahead. So lets pray, love, and forgive more each day of our lives.

“The lord will fight for you, you only need to be still”
– Exodus 14:14
