Dare to dream

of the impossible, because our lives are not our own.

God our Father, creator of Heaven and Earth has a plan for each of us.
A plan to give us hope – Jeremiah 29:11

Our treasure is not the kind that moths or worms can devour. It is heaven in God’s hands. It depends on God alone, his good will and unfailing goodness to us. Our identity has its source in the creative love of God, who made us in his own image and destines us to live with him forever.

“Love is what remains when nothing remains.”

-Jacques Philippe, Interior Freedom: Spiritual Poverty and Freedom

We search for love, we yearn, and we desire to be loved by someone who sees us as we are. Only God can fulfill this need.

“I choose you before I gave you life, and before you were born I selected you to be a prophet to the nations.” – Jeremiah 1:5

In my own experience of His great and mysterious love, He seeks me and He searches for me, in Psalm 139 . He loved me first, therefore with my own will, I choose to love Him back, in response to His love for me. And once you’ve experienced His love, there is no turning back, because you know you can never find another love like God’s. This perfect, and unconditional love for every person, whom He calls as His beloved.

In CCC1 (Catechism of the Catholic Church)

God, infinitely perfect and blessed in himself, in a plan of sheer goodness freely created man to make him share in his own blessed life. For this reason, at every time and in every place, God draws close to man. He calls man to seek him, to know him, to love him with all his strength. He calls together all men, scattered and divided by sin, into the unity of his family, the Church. To accomplish this, when the fullness of time had come, God sent his Son as Redeemer and Savior. In his Son and through him, he invites men to become, in the Holy Spirit, his adopted children and thus heirs of his blessed life.
