Do you trust me

How often were we told by someone: ‘Trust me!’ , and their actions fall short of the words they say. We must therefore believe in the unchanging one- Jesus.

Never let your heart be deceived by mere words people say.

“The LORD says, “I will condemn those who turn away from me and put their trust in human beings, in the strength of mortals.

He is like a bush in the desert, which grows in the dry wasteland, on salty ground where nothing else grows. Nothing good ever happens to him.” – Jeremiah 17:5-6

“But I will bless the person who puts his trust in me. He is like a tree growing near a stream and sending out roots to the water. It is not afraid when hot weather comes, because its leaves stay green; it has no worries when there is no rain; it keeps on bearing fruit. – Jeremiah 17;7-8

“If you look only at what you leave behind, then you don’t have strength to go on, but if you contemplate in faiththe promises of Christ, then you will see Christ & we will receive strength to be witnesses of Christ in our life, something impossible on human strength alone.

The world can’t understand us and it can’t understand Jesus either, but Jesus can understand us

God will test us, to see if we are believers of our faith

Faith, made action. Faith made love, because love is tested by obedience. To say that you love but you don’t obey, that’s useless, its just words, words.”

– Father Rafael, Founder of the Home of the Mother

In difficult obedience, take it a step with God

  • “Lord, I don’t understand why you are doing this, but if you are asking it of me, I will fulfill it, I want to do so.”
  •  Give me your love and your grace- that’s enough for me – Saint Ignatius of Loyola
