Waiting in silence…

is never an easy task, a feet above all feet, to acknowledge one’s weaknesses before the Lord.

That nothing is impossible without the help of our Lord.

He is greater in me than I am

Lord Jesus, I desire humility more than ever

To listen to you, with obedience ~in the silence of my heart.

Patience I seek,  as in the words of St Teresa of Avila: ”

Let nothing disturb you,

Let nothing frighten you,

All things are passing;

God only is changeless.

Patience gains all things.

Who has God wants nothing.

God alone suffices.

Truly, patience is one virtue that leads to other amazing virtues such as love, compassion, kindness, gentleness and so on.

In patience alone, there lies great strength.

Our time here is limited and I can only pray that the angels and saints above guide my walk here on Earth, may it be fruitful and not worthless, let every trial and difficulty surpass my own understanding that I may bear it generously and graciously, with great desire to be like the saints above, who have given an example of their life here.

To pursue with great trust, patience and love in all that I do- To fight the good fight and cling on to the hope that is in Christ Jesus. Amen.

“Run your best in the race of faith, and win eternal life that God called you when you firmly professed your faith before many witnesses.” – 1 Tim 6:12

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” – Proverbs 3:5

“I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.” – Jeremiah 29:11

  1. It’s good to know that your thoughts and prayers speak to me and that your scripture quotations speak even more clearly to my heart.
